Gamma correction performed on EXR files

Project:YafaRay
Component:Blender Exporter
Category:bug report
Priority:normal
Assigned:David Bluecame
Status:closed
Description

If gamma output = 2.2 is used and rendering is done into EXR image file, seems that either YafaRay or the YafaRay exporter performs gamma correction on the EXR file too, which is a misconception. EXR should be always linear, despite the fact that gamma output =2.2 could be needed to display correctly the render or/and to save into image formats that use the sRGB color space (png, jpg, tiff, tga, bmp, etc)
