Description

In some cases when a normal map is assigned to the material, the faces of the object become flat shaded. The normal map in the below example scene is assigned to bump chanel and "use as normal map" is checked.

Normal map enabled, polygons become flat shaded:

Normal map disabled (used as a bump map), shading returns smooth:
