Summer is here again and we have organised a new edition of the annual contest. Last year we had very interesting entries you can check in this gallery. The topic this year is Insectum. It consist in depicting an insect or a significative part of it in a close-up shot simulating a macrophotography. The insect should be placed in an appropiate enviroment. Contestants can opt either for a hyperrealistic scene or for an imaginary situation, but always striving for artistic qualities. The contest runs from July 4 to August 31, though there is a midterm evaluation in which contestants are requested to have achieved significative progress on their work.
