As long as one doesn't have projects with large architectural scenes with lots of lens-shifted cameras it isn't much of a deal. ;-)
My environment:
Windows 7 x64, i7 920, 12megs ram
Blender 2.49b
YafaRay-0.1.x.DT-538-win32
I've attached a .blend file for easy reproduction (just set the active camera to CameraShifted and blender will crash once YafaRay tries to render beyond the shifted viewport)
Bug confirmed on Windows 7 64b/ YafaRay 0.1.2 / Blender 2.5 exporter August 2011. The crash happens not in the exporter but during Yafaray rendering, when the integrator starts working.
"Shifted camera in blender is exported as xstart or ystart param in yafaray xml file. For positive shift it is exported as negative value, which is incorrect and causes yafaray crash."
