I have updated the background section with a rectification in this article:
http://www.yafaray.org/documentation/us ... dbehaviour

Single color, Gradient and non-IBL Texture can work as a light source in photon mapping, if Use button is enabled in photon mapping settings.

We have created a Frequent Answered Questions section in Documentation. Apart from me, anyone with writing rights can add and edit FAQs:
http://www.yafaray.org/documentation/userfaq

In the Content Writers menu on the left, there is a section called "Create FAQ". Use it to create a new Frequent Answered questions.

You can find some advice about writing FAQs in the Guidelines.

Thanks for collaborating.

Hi there

A new tutorial has been published in our tutorials section, called Yafaray 1, 2, 3 – The Basics

This is an introductory tutorial that outlines the basic usage of Yafaray and its workflow differences in comparison with Blender internal renderer.

Thanks _Mo_ for this new addition to the YafaRay documentation. :D
