OK...I'm in...
My first intention is to make an animation... let see if I can finish the work. I'll update all work I have so far before this weekwend.

Modeling and texturing is 99% done. I've been checking, rechecking and changing some textures and models before define the scenes for render the video

I've been rendering for 4 days (this is the bored part ) and now I have 90% of the frames done. I think all frames will be finished today at night (really late night) or tomorrow morning... then the fun part will begin

small update... just playing with nodes and VSE

first of all I must apologize for not updating for so long my contest entry. I've been working on the video and rendering keeps my computer as a hostage .
I realized I had not discussed the subject of my entry for this contest.
When it was announced, in December, my first choice was Birth of a New Era. But because some family problems it was not sure if I could have time to work on it. Finally I decided to participate and searching on the the internet for references to the topic Oblivion, forgotten or destroyed objects, and I found some really nice images of creepy dolls that caught my attention. So that's the topic I choose...
hopefully I will be able to upload something finished finally next week...

for the basic postprocessing I only worked with color and Z-depth buffer from yafaray, no Blender passes were used. So I ended up with a bunch of sequences and made a basic color correction with nodes to feed Video Sequencer (it looks messy but it's not ) for render

Still Category: I uploaded a low resolution version (1240x1534) in JPG for preview due the max size limit in the forum. But it's better to get the final version in the original resolution (2700x3340) in PNG format from the Dropbox link

I had a lot of other work to do in the last 2-3 weeks, so I couldn't spare enough time. The nice weather outside had also to do with it, but basically I bite off more that I could chew

But I will finish it eventually.
