I used an HDR image to improve the illumination of the scene.

Hi,

Scene is looking very pleasing, good job.

What render method did you use?
The full size pic shows a lot of tiny bright spots mainly on the floor.
What render time did you get on this large image?

Cheers

Jakerlund Hello, thank you for commenting my work. Below are the settings. About the only bright spots appeared when I used an HDR image as lighting, do not know exactly what happened, sorry. Rendering took about 04 hours.

hmmmm... the tiny white spots are noise. it needs more render passes/samples per pass. But maybe you should try with a lower Search Count value too, something around 250 or 350. Higher values will increase render time with no real impact. instead try using more samples for additional passes... like 6. That will reduce the noise.
Or you can try SPPM.... most of the time faster than PM+FG

Condar Hello, thanks for the comments. Did you also inform that the file is available to download from the website Blend Swap.

Hello Alvaro, Thanks for your comments. I did the complete modeling of this scene, the barcelona chair I found a tutorial on YouTube Julio Cezar Pires, great tutorial. I have no experience with architecture but I like modeling for interiors. Unfortunately Yafaray is ceasing to be an option as renderer. I do not understand why the developers are abandoning this project.

Often when a developer accepts a full time job they are required to sign an agreement to work exclusively for their employer.

Really nice & clean scene. This is the field where Yafa always has, and still kicks ass. :)

Is this so? Is this the reason why Yafaray's developments is stagnated? Being an open-source project, can't another developer or group of developers continue its development?

It's a shame to see such a project getting lost and forgotten.
