Are you sure that this is not Octane . Perfect fork!. Only the pillows needs more volume near the seam (edge). This is DOF from Yafa or Z-depth from Blender internal?

Perfect piece of craft....lights, AA, colours....but 10 hours is good time for unique renders /LUX, Indigo/ but its too much for architecture practise...render in resolution about 1200x900 must be done about 1,5 hour max. ....by my opinion and practise experience...but its not important for quality of this result...gallery please

Second look: Did you use MOtiva in postpro?...FG samples can be higher, in interiors it can be problem...I use 64 samples, sometimes 32 when I have short time...but low FG samples number is visible in final result... Usually in studio object lighting with 32 samples you can make really nice and clean renders, but in interiors its different situation....

It's YaR DOF.

Well, I'm still learning Yafaray and there's always a way for optimization. However, the scene with DOF needs a much more AA samples for smooth result than a scene without it. And I think that the render time depends on scene heaviness. This scene contains ~2000000 polygons. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No. It's pure GIMP postpro. I've tried to run Motiva under wine but with no luck. And I don't want to set up Windows environment for one piece of software only.

but.. are you sure these are the right settings? i see 1000000 of photons, and especially FG 16 (i think too low - really.. i think impossible with dof )

another one: to optimize AA set samples at 2 (first pass 20 and others at 2 have no sense.. best results with more passes)

perfect photo -really god is in details! a little issue,quilt looks leathery than fabric ,maybe lack of falloff ramp to create velvet look is limitation.

Really great piece. 1 million photons only wow, I usually uses really a lot more like a least 5 million. Does having multiple AA passes compensate that?

If its not too annoying could you please tell what type of lamp did you use coming from the windows? Area lamp?
