With this update, i really want to bring the house to the focus, leaving everything else darken.

Hello guys this would be a final image for the contest. I experiment a lot with a tress, fog, bushes etc.. But after all I was always give a huge focus on the house. Make it a very old creepy house look, and on the other hand give the hole cartoon sort of the feel. I hope you like it. :D

P.S. I hope there will be no more updates, that's all from me at this point :D

Hi,

Nice render! Nice texturing, modeling, lighting and compositing! 5 stars!
Now some critics... what value are you using at filter size? In my opinion, you should increase to make the scene a little bit blurry, it's too sharp. And the tree on the left is something that you need to work on, because there is some dots outside of the branch, making the image a little bit strange. Anyway, make this changes just if you think is worth and if you'll make some little changes on the image!

Cheers,
Victor.

I would concentrate on texturing instead of lighting as there is a lot of room for improvements in that regard yet, moverover if you want to convey a particular mood

Thanks guys for the comments :)

Well that sharpness comes from the sharp filter, that's kind of the habit that I have from the archvis days :) Filter size is ok - 11. Sure, there are room for improvements (there's always room for that), but for my taste I planned to leave it this way. I have fix some issue along the way, and at the end I got something that I'm really satisfied in. But of course it's always good to hear opinions, that's why we are here :)

Again thanks for the critiques, since I'm still a beginner I hope that this critiques, as well as the one that will come along the learning process will be of great value.

regards

I have worked a little bit on the image, most on the background, add some small changes to it (mostly matte painting). And for the final add a vignette.

This is final, final after final :)
