I am playing in Wings3D with the povmaniac 0.1.5 SSS build and SSS is now working with Directlighting, Photonmapping, and Pathtracing.

Build make on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS amd64 with SSS support.
Zipped file contain binaries and exporter files, only unzip inside Blender addons folder and run:

P.D. Have a know problem with jpg libs.

Hi povmaniac.

Could you share the scene if you still have it please? Testing on 12.04 I get no scatter effect, and the 'Map To' texture panel has nothing on it.

Hi stoneage..
I prepare a next build with scenes and 'sss presets'. Also I want push all code to the repository, but atm is full of debris, tests and code commentaries..:)

If anyone wants to try playing with SSS in Wings3D, I created a help document. Playing with SSLT in Pov-Ray, showed me how good this version of SSS works when it comes to both quality and speed. Here is the document... http://www.oortman3d.com/wings3d/TheBountySSS.pdf
