IBL mapping coordinates [ignore this topic]

Post Mon Mar 14, 2016 8:59 am

EDIT: I misunderstood the concepts, everything with this subject seems fine.

Hi all,

It seems that mapping coordinates on ibl are wrong: when setting angular mapping the spherical hdr is displayed correctly, and the opposite with angular maps.

I cannot post any testscene pecause I don't have hdr that can be posted.

Regards!

Hello,

The way YafaRay IBL is supposed to work is described here:
http://www.yafaray.org/documentation/userguide/backgrounds#Texture

As far as I know, mapping in YafaRay is doing what's described in the documentation. When you say it's wrong, please will you specify wrong respect to what?

Thanks and best regards!

I'm sorry but I cannot delete forum threads... I'm afraid you will have to endure the shame for all eternity ;-)

In any case, please keep giving us your feedback. It is really valuable and helps us to improve YafaRay.

Best regards.
