Position of Sun Disk in Sunsky 1

Post Sat May 02, 2015 6:26 am

When using Sunsky 2 (Darktide Sunsky), if the sun is centered in the camera it is centered in the rendered image. However, when using Sunsky 1 even when the sun is centered in the camera it is not centered in the rendered image. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Hello,

Please will you provide a blend example and some screenshots/images of the problem?

Thanks and best regards!

Why do you use sunsky1? Sunsky2 is more accurate and gives realistic results

David,
I am having the problem in Wings3D. Maybe I better check the export code to make sure I didn't get something wrong for Sunsky 1.

Kenanaybati,
I am working on getting things to work in Wings3D and included Sunsky 1 since it is available. Maybe it is a problem that no one has noticed since everyone just uses Sunsky 2???

Edit: Sorry for the bogus report. Looking at the exported code it seems that the from position is not getting exported for Sunsky 1. I will let you know if that fixes it...

Edit 2: It was an error in my code. Sunsky 1 shows the sun disk correctly. I guess what I thought was the sun off center was light from the horizon or other. Again sorry for the bogus report...

Thanks,
