Debian package

Post Tue Mar 30, 2010 3:46 pm

Hi!

I've just created a Debian package for uploading yafaray to Debian official project and I have some questions. Firts one, are you agree your software stay in Debian project?. I have seen you are distributing Ubuntu packages, but it seems these packages are not Debian Policy compliant. And, in my opinion, it would nice that yafaray would be distributed in the default Debian distribution.

On the other hand, I'm interested in packaging the blender plugin for Debian but I can't find the licensed of that software. Yafaray is distributed under GPL 2.1 terms... and, what about Yafaray-blender? Is it distributed under the same terms?. When I resolve this legal issue I'm be able to create an ITP (Intent To Package) on Debian.

Thanks a lot for your job in Yafaray project.
