Maximum file sizes

Post Sat Feb 25, 2017 7:57 am

Hello,

The YafaRay file size limitations were set a very long time ago. Considering our server capacity and the ever-growing file size needs, I've increased the maximum upload file size from 2MB to 20MB.

I hope this helps you to be able to upload your images, files, etc, more easily!

Best regards.

Hi David

Thanks, great idea. BTW maybe we can find some use for the extra capacity we have in the new server. One idea could be setting a rendering server with a set of scenes known to be problematic o scenes of significance and a render routine that renders every scene against a particular release and post results in a spreadsheet with comparisons against other releases regarding render time, render quality, bug finding, etc. If we have time to do it of course.

Nice. No more compressed .jpegs :)

The render server and nightly builds is a fabulous idea.

Thanks stoneage, but the render server idea is not mine. This is actually how some render engine makers work.
