QApplication Segmentation fault

hello everybody,
here is my problem .....
I tried to build yafaray (both svn and that available on download page) on fedora 11. build completed successfully.
but when i try to render from blender , it gave me segmentation fault. Here are my configurations

system AMD athlon 3000+
fedora 11
blender 2.49a (local build)
python 2.6
user-config.py:
WITH_YF_QT='true'

Segmentation fault


I googled a lot, tried all the options, but no success.
it may be due to some missing dependency, i dont know...
please help me.
I have windowsXp available and yafaray is working perfectly on that, but i am working on lot of things which are locally build on fedora, so if i switch to windows i will loose all those things, anyway we should at least know right ? why this beautiful program is not working :)

few more info:
I have put yafaray/bindings/python/* and scripts
into /usr/local/share/yafaray/blender/

Previously i havn't even getting the blender-exporter-gui
so i gave `ldconfig` but *yafaray*.so files were not there , then again i put paths on file in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/yafaray.conf
after that only i got the blender-exporter-gui.
Please help.

problemo Solved
go to qtconfig-qt4
appearance > Gui style
change from default to some other
either to windows, oxygen , plastique etc

forum members , sorry for the confusion caused by me.... :?

Thanks zerothwonder, I had exactly the same setup as you and, of course, the same problem... :-)
I suspected it was something around qt4 config but I didn't have the time to dig into it, so your help is much appreciated.
