First of all i'd like to thank Samo for the organisation of the contest, U did a great job... too bad u couldnt enter, Your entry would probably beat my work :)

Thanks everyone for voting for me and congratulations to Efelon for the second place, i really liked the mood of your piece. Also congratulations to all the participants for submitting their entries.

It was my first contest as well and I hope to participate next year too. Maybe there will be a bit more interest in it...
I'll try to write a bit of "making of" for my entry focusing on the render and materials and a bit of modelling, as some might be interested in it as well :)

Congratulations to the winners! This was very fun and I will be in it next year for sure (hopefully with yaf(a)ray))

And yes, Kronos I would like to see the making of on how you did the materials, etc. I have so much I want to learn about yafray.

Funny enough I figured out photon maps just yesterday even though I've used them before.

3rd isn't bad, but I believe the people who beat me deserved it more. (No third place prize?), whatever nice entries everybody.

Thank you to all the organizers and sponsors!

I learned a lot about yafray and had a lot of fun!

And yes, of course I would be interested in a "making of".

Thank you to all the organizers and sponsors!

You are welcome. Thanks indeed to our sponsor, 3D World magazine.

The prizes have been already distributed, Kronos has chosen a Blender book, 'Introducing Characters Animation', and Efelon gets one year subscription to 3D Word.

I hope you both post a photo when the prizes get home. :D
